Vocabulary

imperative (noun): something that demands attention or action.
               
                    "knowledge, of course, is always imperfect,but it seemed to me that when a nation goes to war it must have a reasonable confidence in the justice and imperative of its cause." pg 41
              
                     OS: Itis imperative that we bring back our comrades from mayheim.
                      Own Logic- I didnt know the meanning of the word so i looked it up online and dictionary.


Decapitated (verb): to cut off the head.
                  
                    "After slaughter, the hogs were decapitated, split down the length of the belly, pried open, eviserated, and strung up by the hind hocks on a high conveyer belt." pg 42
                
                    OS: In ancient times the majority of people that were decapitated were mostly criminals.
                    Own Logic: Remebered reading a chapter on the french revolution in high school on how the french decapitaed people.

Infantry (noun):  Soldiers or military units that fight on foot.
                       
                   "You have to head for the front and hook up with an infantry unit and help spill the blood." pg42
                 OS: Infantry units were mostly used for the viet war.
                 Own logic: I play call of duty :]

Reflection 5

My motivation at the current moment I would say is at 75%. I should get it pumped seeing as were half-way done with the semester and I don’t want to get anything less than a B. I usually tend to boost my motivation by listening to motivational music or ill go and have an introspection moment and figure out what I want and what I’m going to do to get there. One thing I should watch out for is my laziness the thing kills me when I try to get things done piece of crap. But oh well just got to deal with it. I'm hoping to be able to pull it together and get everything I need to do by the end of the semester. So seeing as how I sort of got this thing down I should be good and just wait and see what happens haha. For some reason writing two hundred and fifty words is harder to write than I thought I would rather be writing an essay. At this very moment I’m trying to get an interview with a History Prof for a project for read 96. One major reason Im looking forward to is summer the beach and my board have my name on it so that is also motivational. So all in all I’m going to do work get shit done and enjoy the quick break before the next project and squeeze in maybe some COD but I should be able to for sure.                                                                                                                                                               

Reflection Post 4

One of my long terms would be to transfer to UCI and dorm there.  A midterm goal is to be training for iron man marathon  and a short goal would be for me to get myself  to do all the small stuff in school so I don’t get slammed latter.

 Dear, Sis  

 UC life rocks although it was a pain in the ass to get my stuff straight but it all paid off and I feel pretty damn good about myself knowing I did it. I’m currently pledging with a fraternity so I’ll let you know whether I make it or not, although I’m positive ill make pledge. My training for the iron man is going great as well I’m able to run 14 miles at a decent time It could and will in prove so I’m not that worried it’s my swimming though that’s killing me once I’m at the end of the two thousand yards I just die so ill need to do work on that area and the biking part is a breeze.  And to let you know sis I am keeping up with all my studies so it won’t bite me in the ass latter in the futer.  I’ll keep you posted on things k
